MyPrivateRoom.com provides a cyber location and a "well thought out" design to store and create confidential information. Items such as new ideas, pictures, writings, financials, appointments, logins, passwords, PIN numbers, medical records, personal loan tracking, home improvement expenses, proof of ownership, proof of invention, debt management procedures and more are kept securely confidential unless you decide to share them.

The site uses a "Private Room" metaphor which allows each person to rent their own space. Each room is protected by a variety of methodologies (which can include full time encryption) and provides a select number of useful Miniature Applications (see below).

To help clarify our unique concept of Private Rooms:</ Imagine renting a "real world" private room in a five star hotel.  Imagine your room starts out  completely empty. Room To Room Email

You may find yourself needing to write a private memo to another MyPrivateRoom.com user. If you know the room number of that user, this module makes it quite easy to stay in touch.

Normally this mini-app is created automatically when a room is created. The email activity will only show up when the room visitor is in Admin Mode. This means that you can safely have email activity in a room that you occasionally invite others to join, but those "guests" will not see your email. You may also delete this module from your room if you feel it will not be needed. See Note below.

Room 2 Room Email is not intended to replace your existing email system. It is a place where you can feel confident that the mail you receive here is only from people with whom you have a trusted interest. It's a place where the highest level of security is given to your personal communications.

To top it all off, there is a Self Destruct Email feature that enables your memo to be read (by the recipient) and then it will self destruct in the number of seconds that you specify. This can be helpful with time sensitive information that should not hang around any longer than needed. We have lawyers and politicians that use this feature repeatedly.

The average "Joe" or "Jane" will also use it to communicate extremely private thoughts to each other. Thoughts so provocative, they only need to be said and read once.!!!

Just keep them all here and you'll only need to remember your room number and it's password.  Then when you're out on the road and you forget one (and you know you will) , all you have to do is access it from MyPrivateRoom.com.

  

 

Side By Side Photos (a very popular app)

Selecting this option allows you to upload two photos which will be displayed Side By Side within the same record.  This is great for giving your room the best "bang for your buck" because it virtually doubles a room's picture capacity.  It also looks really nice.

Or this feature could be used as a visual comparison between two images. 
 

  

When used as a Now & Then or Before & After record, your shots will normally be two images that depict some notable change in the subject that has taken place over a period of time. 

It could be pictures of  family members as they are Now (adults) and Then (as children) or pictures of that old classic car you spent years refurbishing.  What about your major bathroom remodel?  The possibilities are endless.

You'll enjoy  having such convenient access to some of the more memorable events in your life.

Photos (allows adjacent special occasion images)

Selecting this option allows you to upload an image of your choice.  It could be just about anything, yourself, your girlfriend, your boy friend, your car, your boss, your kids or just plain nonsense.  Remember, only those you allow in the room will ever see it.

Your pictures are protected against theft by Stealth technology that allows your images to be viewed but not copied while in visitor's browser. Great for copyrighted works and enhanced personal privacy.

              


A Special Occasion picture may be added on the side of your uploaded picture which will display an appropriate image for celebrating a wedding, job promotion, birthday etc.  Numerous 'special occasion'  images are included and are available when you select this Single Photo mini-app.

FYI: Some people have created rooms for friends or relatives and then placed some meaningful images and information into the room, and then they give the room away as a "gift".  That's actually pretty cool!!!!

Box.net - Save Important Documents Online

Hopefully you know by now that storing some of your most important documents away from your home or office is one of the wisest and most responsible things you can do.

We all hope that disaster will never affect us personally but in "real life", too often, it does.  You need a "separate place" to store copies of items such as :

Birth Certificates, Wills, Mortgage Papers, Medical Documents, Photos, Legal Documents etc.

Use this mini app when you want to store a "bunch" of photos or a selective number of scanned documents.   Our photo uploading in the first two mini apps above serve a special purpose.  Those photos will act like a gallery of photos that adorn the walls of your luxury room.  You get to see them every time you enter your room.  The photos you store into Box.net may share a different level of importance.  You never want to lose them but you don't need to see them every day.

You should add ONLY 1 instance of this mini app to your room.


Certificate of Ownership

When emergencies happen, it is often important to be able to prove to others that you are the true owner of valuable articles in and around your home.

Agencies such as insurance companies, police and/or fire departments generally take a "questionable" view at items listed by home owners after a stressful event such as hurricane, fire, flood or earthquake.  Even a robbery can put you in a defensive stance when trying to show proof of ownership.

The real key is to have viable and credible proof BEFORE you experience an emergency.  That's exactly what this mini-app does for you.

You'll take pictures of valuable household items and create a Certificate Of Ownership record here. Your newly added record is time-stamped and that record along with other descriptive text is LOCKED from further editing.

If needed, insurance companies etc. can use the special "link code" that we provide to show proof that you truly owned the items that you listed in your report.  Some agencies will accept a printout of these records to establish the authenticity of your claim.

Due to the security nature of this particular mini-app, you'll need to make all your changes to this record within a one day period.  After that, the record is permanently locked.

Well time has moved on since those days but the need to have "some kind of" proof in reference to that new widget you just created still exists.

"I created that a year ago" Only to have your audience turn to you with a look in their eyes that said "yeah! sure you did."

Our Certificate of Invention is an inexpensive solution that documents your origination date and proof of concept. Ultimately you'll still need a more legally viable "proof of invention" such as a patent or copyright etc. but these can be costly and time consuming.  In the meantime, you should do something.

When using this app for this purpose you'll want to make use of the column of data input that is for reimbursed expenditures.  This way you can keep an accurate record as to how much your company still needs to pay you.

Okay, So What's A Concierge?
    

Concierges  are  Affiliates  who typically control one or more blocks of rooms located at this site. A block is equal to 50, 100, 200 or 500 rooms.

An attractive recurring income opportunity is available to those with business skills and a desire to "finally" make some money off the web.  An even more exciting and potentially profitable opportunity is offered to you when you take advantage of our concept called  "Captive Audience Marketing" .

 

Concierge accounts are sold in blocks of 50 rooms.  A "block" is defined as a continuous and sequentially "ordered" number of rooms (e.g. 1150,1151,1152,1153... etc.)

Note: Concierges are required to occupy the Starting Room Number of a purchased block of rooms. This is how we at MyPrivateRoom.com will know how to reach you and it will help you to remember where your property is located. This requirement is placed on you only upon EACH separate purchase.  That means that if you purchase 200 rooms at one time and your assigned starting room number is 1400, then you only need to occupy room number 1400. Of course you can occupy any other room(s) you wish that are within your "block" . However the lowest number of a "block"  is considered to be the Concierge's Suite.  Certain unique functions will be available to the Concierge while he/she is visiting that room.
   
How does a Concierge make money?
A Concierge makes money through two primary methods:
  • By renting the rooms (in their block of rooms) to outside tenants
  • By selling products and/or services to their tenants

MyPrivateRoom.com is a robust membership site. We offer Concierges amazing discounts off of the normal fees that we charge customers who sign up for membership directly.  In fact the highest fee that we would charge a Concierge is just a fraction of the cost (ie. $1.00) for a whole year  vs. a direct membership cost of up to $60.00 per year.

Yes you read the above correctly, but just to make sure!!!  A direct membership would cost our clients $5.00 per month or $60.00 per year (when paid on a monthly basis), $40 per year when paid all at once.  Your Concierge privilege gives you the SAME ROOM for ONLY $1.00 (for the whole year). That's $1.00 TOTAL, not per month.  That's One Dollar vs. $60.00 (to really drill the point home).

This tremendous discount gives you an opportunity to make a wonderful recurring income when you fill your block of rooms with your own tenants.  You can even rent your rooms for a discounted amount to the ultimate end user. For example, you could charge $25 or $30 to a new tenant (for a yearly rental) and become a "hero" to the tenant because you saved them a nice sum of money (off the potential $60 per year).

The second option above is extremely interesting and has also proven to be a real "Profit Maker". With this option the Concierge (ie. affiliate) :

  • Fills the room with people,who they know, that share a common interest (sports,politics,music,religion etc.)
  • Normally they simply "give the space away" to a potential tenant who meets the Concierge's criteria
  • Concierge then promotes and sells products to their "thankful" tenants
 


MyPrivateRoom knows that a Concierge or affiliate will always have something for sale.  Recognizing the fact that the Concierge pretty much knows who he placed in the rooms (by demographics), he has a wonderful opportunity to sell to those people via a facility that is already built into each and every private room.

At the bottom of each private room’s page is a “Live Promo Window” that acts as a portal to the Concierge’s promotional material which in most cases will be an actual web page.

Therefore a savvy business person would want to take advantage of their “Captive Audience” and promote items that may be of common interest to the majority of people that make up that “block of rooms”.

A Concierge could actually charge a rental fee AND sell to that same group of people. The choice is theirs.  MPR does not ask for nor require any commissions from sales made in this manner.

The Concierge has the flexibility of changing the sales message as often as he wants and therefore has 12 months to sell to his known “Captive Audience”.

 

You may notice that the "Live Promo Window" is located at the bottom of the "virtual" room.  We have found this location to be less annoying than the traditional positioning of promo material. 

Seasoned marketers would argue the point that having a placement of their ad at the top is a much more productive location but their results are probably right for buyers who are only going to be exposed to an ad for a few seconds (at most).

Our considerable experience with this issue shows an active tenant visits their room often and having the less obtrusive bottom positioning actually improves the results of your marketing efforts because the tenants feel that "THEY" are making the buying decision versus having an advertisement always forced upon them every time they enter their room.  Losing a tenant permanently (due to irritation) means you'll never have an opportunity to market to the person ever again.

Note, you want to saturate your rooms with excited and active participants. Selecting your "Captive Audience" will prove to be the most critical step in maximizing your Return On Investment (ROI). Along with the "Live Promo Window" which can be easily set to point to a "Landing Page" of your choice (including affiliate links), MyPrivateRoom also allows Room-2-Room Email which can be utilized to communicate with some or all of your tenants.  Our email system is internal and has nothing to do with a person's existing email service.  It is not made to replace a person's existing email service but to provide a "closed circuit" and "more secure" method of private communications.
