RENTAL POLICY

PLEASE NOTE: Your MODE of payment may be affected by the method in which you signed up for your room. If you dealt strickly with this site and/or "normal affiliates" of MyPrivateRoom.com, then you'll see our policies listed below. If you however came to occupy a room or rooms through one of our Concierge ACCOUNTS, that person may have a Slightly Different method of charging and receiving fees from you. Concierges are independent business people and they may charge MORE or LESS than the parent company. Concierges act as "super affiliates" of our company and often offer programs that favor you and your financial interests. To determine if you are actually in a "regular room" or in a Concierge ACCOUNT room, you should see a special message at the top the page when you click on the Forum Icon. If you see the message, then you are in a Concierge's room. If no message appears at the top of the first Forum page (relating to this subject) then you are considered part of the "general population" and are not under the umbrella of a Concierge. Another way to determine if you are within a "block" of Concierge rooms is by the room number itself. Room numbers above 250,000 are Concierge rooms. Room numbers below 250,000 are "regular direct sign up rooms". ---------------------------------------------------- All members have an initial 6 month FREE membership. Since we have many clients who would not like the inconvenience of trying to remember each month to renew their rental, you have several distinct options. * You may make a monthly payment of $5.00 US per month * You may make a payment for 6 months @ $25.00 US { Save $5.00 } * You may make a payment for 12 months @ $40.00 US { Save $20.00 } As you can see, the yearly rental saves you a tremendous amount of money over the monthly method. The yearly rental also has the added advantage of eliminating your need to "remember" to update your account and request more time. ---------------------------------------------------- Scenario #1: (if you elect to pay month by month) ------------------------------------------------- When a new room is created we assign a date of 185 days (from sign up date) to be the initial rental period. We will bill you after an initial 185 day (6 month) trial period. This billing will be for the following month's fees. We will then simply REBILL your account for each additional month as time has elasped and the new month(s) fee has become due and payable. You may receive reminders near the end of your 30 day cycles if we have trouble processing your credit card for the following month. These reminders will instruct you to manually check your profile and credit card information. It will also serve as an opportunity to inform the system that you want to stay longer in that specific room. This can be accomplished while renter is in ADMIN MODE. Link to {Extending Time} can be found (while in your room) near the top of the page (on the left). ------------------------------------------------------- Scenario #3:(if you elect to pay for a year in advance) ------------------------------------------------------- When you opt to extend your period of rental for one year we will add a date of 1 year (to the current room's END DATE). We will then bill you for the yearly fees due (in advance) for another year of service. This transaction will take place during one of our regular "recurring billing sweeps". Selecting an extended period of time offers you several advantages such as: 1. A savings in the overall yearly fees by paying in advance. 2. You eliminate the worry (on a month to month basis) of whether your credit card account is in good standing at the moment we attempt to collect our fees. Our system is fully automated and if the required fees are found to be not available, it could be cause for immediate termination of your account. NOTE: Some reasonable notice will be given to you before termination will take place. 3. Gives you the added convenience of not having to remember another item in your already busy schedule. FYI: Your credit card statement will display the name Lexcel Systems for these charges. NOTE: 'Dumping a Room' refers to the act that the room's administrator may take when selecting an Exit Strategy- The option 'Wipe Clean Now' in effect, 'dumps the room' (e.g. deletes the room and all it's contents). If you decide to manually "DUMP" your room, then all potential rental fees will be stopped. This is true because your room will no longer exist.

REFUND POLICY

If you for any reason decide that the rental of one of our Private Rooms is not for you, you may request and receive a refund up to the amount of your most recent rental. This request must be received BEFORE the rental time has expired. This means that no refund for rental (as in Scenario #1 above) may ever exceed $5.00 US. (Since the maximum we will charge is $5.00 US). In the case of Scenario #2 above (paid in advance for multiple months) a refund may be paid after a prorated fee has been deducted from the prepaid amount. [e.g. (Prepaid amount/12) * (num of whole months left on rental)] As a renter and in effect owner of a room, you may 'dump' your room anytime and any future charges will not occur due to the fact the room no longer exists and/or it is not associated with YOUR name. Where possible, refunds will be given on the same credit card that was used to initiate the rental transaction. Sales for our services by independent "Affiliate" operators may require additional deductions from your request due to the fact that these Affilates will have shared in the receipt of the initial transaction. In such cases we will always find a fair middle ground. No refunds are available "from us" for Concierge ACCOUNT sales. The reasons for this is that Concierges are a special kind of affiliate and we at MyPrivateRoom.com do not get involved in the fees that a Concierge may or may not charge you. This site endeavors to provide a means for legally crafted activity to remain the sole property of the originator of said property in a manner indicative of modern day use of computer technology. In effect this site has created a virtual warehouse where private matters can be created, stored and possibly shared. The company does not monitor such stored creations and would consider such acts as a breakdown in trust between Company and Customer. The basic building block of MyPrivateRoom.com is to obtain and keep on file personal information only as long as needed and to destroy and discard information that has grown non current. We do not share information with ANY outside sources. For the most part, information is stored in an encrypted manner and where possible, data is disassociated with the creator of such data. Although every reasonable step has been taken to protect your information from outside sources, it is important to note that you use our services "at your own risk". In no way shall MyPrivateRoom.com, TT&P Corporation, Lexcel Systems and/or any of it's affiliates be liable for ANY damage caused by such use. In the event that such liability is determined by a court of law, such damages could not exceed the maximum yearly rental amount of $60.00 US. MyPrivateRoom.com believes in the American system of government and would not like its technical services to be used in any manner that could be considered aiding "acts of terror against the US". For that reason, the company will, upon being served a properly endorsed supoena, abide by the law enforcement agencies who have clearly demonstrated their belief that such acts are taking place utilizing our technical services. MyPrivateRoom.com would not like its technical services to be used to promote or enable to be stored any material that could be considered child pornography or hate mongering. For these reasons, the company will, upon being served a properly endorsed supoena, abide by the law enforcement agencies who have clearly demonstrated their belief that such acts are taking place utilizing our technical services. MyPrivateRoom.com has no control of the multitude of fiber optic and other transmittal media used in the passage of information throughout the Internet. Sometimes certain points in that system encounter technical problems which prevent you from reaching our servers. We can take no responsibility for the temporary breakdown of such technology. Your acceptance to use our services acknowledges the fact that there will be occasional glitches that are usually repaired as soon as humanly possible.
